What you'd actually do

  • It has been a tradition and is preferred, but not a requirement, that the Third Legacy Chair be a past District  Committee Member (DCM). The duties include:  
  • Communications with district and area using designated email if available. Personal email may be required for this position.  
  • Coordinating and conducting A.A. related workshops as requested by groups or district  committee chairpersons.  
  • Facilitating information sharing to groups or assembled members through workshops,  presentations, or skits.  
  • Involving Area 72 officers or committee chairs in educational events involving and promoting service. 
  • Assisting district committee chairs with their activities where possible or appropriate. 
  • This position has a budgeted Line-Item for reimbursement of expenses accrued. See the Trusted  Servant Reimbursement Policy (Appendix C) for reimbursement clarifications.
